Welcome to the Educators for Impact e-zine!
Welcome to the first edition of the Educators for Impact e-zine. Through this series of publications we aim to share news about the project and related initiatives, in order to spark further inspiration, collaboration and innovation in the field of Education for Impact.
In this issue we set the scene: What is the Educators for Impact project and what does it hope to achieve? Who are Educators for Impact, and how can we incorporate innovative and entrepreneurial pedagogies across all HEI disciplines to nurture the next generation of changemakers? As well as a spotlight on one of our partners.

What is the Educators for Impact Project?
Academics play a crucial role in leading ‘bottom-up’ change at HEIs. For this transition to be effective, it is vital that these academics have the capacity to direct their thinking and actions towards value creation, and to integrate this into their daily teaching, irrespective of the discipline. The Educators for Impact project aspires to fill the existing gaps, innovate HEIs and train educators to keep up with the challenges that currently exist in Europe.

Transnational Partner Meeting as a Springboard for Discussion
On the 10th of June the Educators for Impact consortium met in Amsterdam for our first international partner meeting. The main goal of the meeting was to discuss our preliminary findings from the investigation phase of the project. After the meeting, we feel evermore united as a consortium, inspired by one another and ready to move forward with the wealth of insights that we have collected.
